Here are our key tips to make your console look
incredible! 

| Begin with an anchor piece such as a mirror, piece of art or a
tall vase/statue/lamp. | Have a mixture of shapes | Vary heights of objects | Mix different finishes and textures | Add a favourite vintage piece for unique character

Start with the Basics - A tray will easily bring smaller pieces together and provide a base for your scheme. Choose a square or rectangular tray or a large circular dish and group different height candles, lanterns and decorative objects.

When styling a console, it’s very easy to go overboard trying to create the wow factor! When in reality, keeping the space simple creates all right ‘feels’. Match neutral tones with a pop of colour such as faux flowers or greenery for interest.

Add coffee table books, very on trend currently and are a fabulous way to add a pop of colour and height to yourconsole. Use books as a plinth to show off a favourite decorative piece.

Play with Height - Use taller pieces such as a vase with some stems, next to a smaller pot or bowl and a few decorative objects.  By adding height and then lower-level items you create interest as the different levels draw the eye.

Create Ambience - Adding candles is an easy way to add ambience, group different sizes together or add a tall dinner candle in an elegant candlestick*. Some of the modern diffusers around are so elegant and make your room smell fabulous as well as looking
great. *Always follow candle safety advice when using naked flames, we suggest using LED candles.

Baskets are great for storing throws in or hiding toys in! whilst still looking stylish as are log baskets filled with rustic logs for that cosy fire.
